On April 18th, with generous support from Scotiabank, Alli’s Journey is proudly presenting Heart and Soul, a concert to benefit young people living with cancer. The fabulous lineup consists of Amanda Martinez, Bill Bridges, George Masswohl, Mark Masri, Micah Barnes, Ma-Anne Dionisio, Susan Cuthbert, Theresa Tova, with musical director David Warrack. We are thrilled to have George Masswohl on the bill. George Masswohl has appeared internationally and for most of Canada’s major theatre companies, including: Soulpepper; both the Stratford and Shaw Festivals; Toronto’s Canadian Stage, Tarragon/Nightwood, and YPT; Halifax’s Neptune; Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius; Vancouver’s Arts Club; and Off-Broadway’s Manhattan Theatre Club. George has been nominated for 5 Dora Mavor Moore Awards and a Jessie Richardson Award. He and his colleagues received the 2014 Dora for their work in Canadian Stage’s ground-breaking London Road. In addition to his work in the theatre, George currently tours and records with his baritone trio, BRAVŪRA.
