On April 18th, with generous support from Scotiabank, Alli’s Journey is proudly presenting Heart and Soul, a concert to benefit young people living with cancer. The fabulous lineup consists of Amanda Martinez, Bill Bridges, George Masswohl, Mark Masri, Micah Barnes, Ma-Anne Dionisio, Susan Cuthbert, Theresa Tova, with musical director David Warrack. We are thrilled to have Theresa Tova on the bill. Award winning actor, writer and singer, Theresa was proclaimed by the Toronto Star as, “an artist Canadians should celebrate”! Tova has a Gemini nomination for her role on the hit TV series ENG.Tova also starred as Emma Goldman in the First National Broadway tour of Ragtime and Yenta in Fiddler on the Roof at the Stratford Festival. Tova wrote and starred in Still the Night which won four Dora Awards and a Governor General Award nomination for excellence in dramatic literature. Her latest project Bella: The Colour of Love, co written with Mary Kerr, is about the artist and greatest love and muse of painter Marc Chagall.
